Happy Birthday, Little Rackley Boys!

We went to Independence Lake this weekend to celebrate Adam, Isaac, and Jacob's birthdays. We decided to have all three parties at once. As we arrived, a dark thunder cloud was dumping buckets of rain and cars were streaming away from the lake, but we waited and the clouds broke and the sun came through . . . and the little boys got their cupcakes!

All but four of the cupcakes had little finger marks on the frosting. Adam and Isaac waited patiently (sort of) all day for their treats.


This was Jacob's first taste of cake. I think he liked it.


The kids swam and played on some rocks near the beach. Here's Joshua and our good friend, Sarah. This picture doesn't show it, but there were more than a dozen little bodies climbing all over these rocks. I'm amazed that nobody fell off.

Another picture of our handsome Josh . . . and his Pokemon cards. Josie and Joshua have given me some of their cards so that the three of us can trade them. They're actually pretty cool.



And a picture of one of the birthday boys. This little girl followed Adam all over the rocks. She had cool, sparkly makeup around her eyes. Adam was not impressed.
