Nobody wants to play with me

Today Mama had an early morning dental appointment, so I was in charge. Finally! Josie was up early organizing her room and I was getting Jacob ready for the day. Josh wanted someone to play with him. Josie - because she's such a kind girl - took a break and played with Josh. It didn't last long. She came back upstairs and continued organizing her room. Josh came up after her and said that Josie didn't want to play any more because he was winning. I tried to explain that sometimes we could help the other person to feel good about the game by going easy on them, just a little. He said, "Nobody wants to play with me because I'm so good at playing games." He threw up his arms up in disbelief.

I told him that we all loved playing with him, but we'd have to do it in a few minutes, after I fed Jacob. The next thing I know, Josie and Josh are outside playing catch with a tennis ball. And Josh - my wonderful little boy - was throwing very carefully. He was going easy on her!
