A Few Busy Days

Here's what happened from Wednesday to Friday:

Michelle's parents showed up. Surprise!

Michelle went into early labor. No worries. It usually goes like this and then the baby comes pretty quickly.

We found out our van needed nearly $2,000 worth of work.

I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation. To celebrate, we took the kids to a lake early, early the next morning for a swim. It was great! Mama, Josie, Josh, and I took the plunge.


We didn't see any polar bears, but man, it was cold!

We're looking forward to another busy few days: Josie, Josh, Adam, and Isaac start school tomorrow, and Jonah (baby #6) will probably be here any day! We are all very excited.
