He did it again

Yesterday the kids and I played after school. After everyone left Joshua decided to climb the lightpole . . . again.



It amazes me how easy he makes it look. He just jumps on and starts climbing. Mama said it's like watching the boys on the islands climb up the coconut trees. I've never seen them, but if it's anything like this, it must be amazing to watch.


His little brothers were cheering him on. Isaac was saying, "Go, Josh!" and "Whoa!" You can see Josie walking past at the bottom of the picture. This wasn't a big deal for her because she does it too.


Periodically, Josh would look down and smile. I told him to stay focused, but when he got to the top he just had to give me one more smile.
