Fall dinner: "This is so cool!"

Fall is upon us here in Michigan. And we are having a gorgeous fall this year! To celebrate, Mama made a special fall dinner.


She made pumpkin soup and - this is the cool part - we ate it out of pumpkins! Josh saw the table and summed up how we all felt about dinner. He said, "This is so cool!"


And it was. The leaves, the fresh farm bread, the cucumber boats, and best of all the great company.


After dinner the kids loved carving their pumkins into jack-o-lanterns. Adam's pumpkin had a round mouth and big round eyes. It looked like it was singing, but Adam kept calling it, "Scary! Scary punkin!"
