Apple Picking

I wait all year long for fall apple picking. We finally got to go this weekend!


It was rainy and windy, so there weren't alot of people there, but it was still great! And Mama did a great job of keeping little Jared warm.


Jacob and I got to hang out as Josie, Josh, Adam, and Isaac picked and ate apples.


Adam brought his dog along. It got lost a few times. Josie, Josh, and Adam worked together so well. Josie and Josh would pick the apples and hand them to Adam, who would then put them in a bag.


Isaac didn't seem to care much about picking apples. Most of the time he was just eating them - one out of each hand, with juice dripping down his chin.


By the time we got two bags full, Adam and Isaac's little hands were too cold to pick/eat any more. We got some warm dounuts from the store at the apple orchard and headed home.

When we got back into the warm car Josie announced, "This was a great day!" Josh said, "Yeah, this was great."

I agree. What a great day!
