Fire Night

Sunday nights in the winter we all get together around the fire right after dark. The kids love cozying up to the fire in their pajamas. Sometimes they bring out their pillows and blankets and just lie down and watch the flames.



I look forward to Fire Night all week. It's great having everybody together. Sometimes we'll tell stories as we roast marshmellows.


Every once in a while we'll make a fire so hot that the kids strip down to their underwear. Then it becomes (nearly) naked Fire Night. That's fun too.
