Sledding Vets Hill

The other day we went to Veteran's Park for some winter fun. It was cold with an icy wind that put the temperature near zero. But all was good because the park has a big hill that's great for sledding.


We bundled everyone up in warm clothes. The little kids were out for over 45 minutes. The big kids lasted over an hour. By that time it was really dark and I was freezing.


Here are some pictures of our handsome twins. Getting a picture of Isaac standing so still was a miracle. Let's hear it for really cold weather. Don't you love his big, brown eyes.


Josie and Josh had a blast sledding on the big hill. If you listen carefully, you can hear Isaac cheering on Josie and Josh. I love Isaac's excitment for things.



Right before we left Josie and Josh discovered a jump. Check this out. This is Josh. It's kind of crazy, but cool. You can hear another parent's amazement. You can also hear me laughing.



Josh was okay. He walked away without a scratch.
