In fall and spring our Church - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - has a general conference where the Church leaders speak. On Saturday and Sunday President Monson and others spoke about the importance of using our agency well, expressing gratitude, patience, Jesus Christ, and getting rid of pride, to name a few.
One of the talks that struck me was Elder Patrick Kearon's.

He spoke about the healing power of Christ. It was simple, beautiful, and powerful. We watched it again the other day as a family. Josie and Josh liked the story about the scorpion at the beginning.
I also really liked Sister Allred's talk about being "steadfast and immovable."

Conference weekend is really a treasure for our family.
