Back to the Lakes

We just had a gorgeous fall weekend - mid-70s, sunny, and at times, breezy.


So, we went to the lakes to try to squeeze out every last bit of fun - and sun - before the weather turns.


We went to Silver Lake and Intependence Lake. Both were great, and practically deserted.


The water was very cold, but Josie, Josh, Mama, and I all went in. Adam and Isaac are even venturing into the cold water deeper than before. It's still a little cold for Jacob and Jared.


At Silver Lake we had a great game of soccer. Josie and Josh played against Adam, Isaac, and me.


And Adam wore his googles the whole time, although it took some effort to keep them OUT of his eyes and on the top of head where he prefers them.
