Recently, Jacob (1 yr) learned a new word - "tree." He says it more like, "tee," but he points, so you know that he knows what he's talking about.
This weekend, Josie and Josh took to climbing trees. We have a pretty big one in our front yard. It's hard to get on because the first branch is pretty high - about 9 feet.
With a little help, Josie and Josh climbed right up. Joshua asked if he could climb up higher, along a branch, and get on top of the roof. That was an easy question to answer - No, way!
When Josh was ready to get down, I told him to jump to me. He shook his head and laughed nervously. I could tell that he thought it would be cool to jump.
With a few words of encouragement, he finally jumped. Right into my arms. Seeing that her little brother did it, when it was Josie's turn to get down she jumped too.
