Taking care of babies, ala Isaac

Isaac is a very attentive big brother. He also likes to talk. He often talks during the day to anyone who'll listen. Most of the time it's his twin brother, Adam, doing the listening.

The other day I was pushing Adam and Isaac on the swings we have in our basement. Isaac said, "Don’t put Jared in the dryer."

This is Jared (not in the dryer):

This morning on the swings, Isaac said, "I don’t want to put Jacob in the washing machine." He then explained why: "I don’t want my babies to be sad."

This is Jacob (in his high chair):

Isaac is a good big brother. Not only for keeping his baby brothers out of major appliances, but for not wanting them to be sad. Isaac does a very good job doing both.

It's so good to have Isaac in our family. We are all happier - and safer - for it.
