A bigger family?

Recently, Josie and I were on a walk and she said, "We have the world record for the most kids out of everybody we know." I asked her how she felt about that and she said that it was, "Good."

A few months ago the radio in our van stopped working. It's been frustrating not having music for the kids, or books on CD, etc. . . . But last night as Josie, Josh, and I were going to pick up a used crib I realized one of the advantages of not having a radio - talking with each other!

I don't know how it started, but Josie and Josh were talking about having lots of children. I asked Joshua how many kids we should have. What the perfect number would be. He thought for a second and said, "Twenty." Josie said, "I think that's too many." Josh explained that with 20 kids we could play great games. He talked about playing soccer with everyone, and tag, and hide-and-seek. Josie liked that. She said, "Yeah! That would be great. If Mama and Papa were "it" they would never get all of us." They both laughed.

They talked like this until we got to the home where we were picking up the crib. I feel blessed to have such wonderful children and such a loving, patient, and faithful wife. My wife and children make all the difference for me.
